Breeding and release
Our conservation programme is funded by donations from Begawan’s founders, individuals, and organizations that care about the protection of the Bali Starling as an endangered species.
Donations made to Begawan Gita are invested directly into the running of the breeding centre, including food for the birds, bird keeping and veterinarian fees, enclosure renovations and relocations, as well as costs for tracking devices and microchips.

How you can help
Bird Food &Expert Care
Make a donation to feed a diet of fruit, vegetables and insects to our adult and juvenile Bali Starlings in our breeding centre, cover costs of maintenance for the enclosures, as well as medication, vitamins, veterinarian and birdkeeper fees.
Adopt a Bali Starling
You will receive a certificate with a beautiful colour photograph for your six-month or one-year adoption of a Bali Starling.
Guided tours
Book a guided tour of our breeding centre to learn about Bali Starlings and support the financial costs of our conservation efforts.
