Community education
Since 2000 Begawan’s education program has been at the heart of its community development efforts. The Foundation currently provides competitive after-school education, six days a week, for 45 children from Melinggih Kelod Village.
Funds donated to the Begawan Guru education programme will be earmarked for teaching materials and educational activities, student transport, as well as supporting cleaning, cooking, utilities, and salaries for teachers and facilitators.
Begawan Guru is happy to provide details of its operational costs for interested parties.

How you can help
Scholarships
Make a donation to allow one child from a rural village in Melinggih Kelod to attend Begawan Guru Learning Centre for up to a year.
Digital devices
Contribute USD 250 or USD 300 to enable our education team to buy a shared laptop, tablet, or camera for computer and media classes.
Student meals
Support the health and wellbeing of the 45 children in our Learning Centre by sponsoring nutritious lunches six days a week.
